December 21, 2017

Dear Parents,

Well, this has been an exciting week and a half!  We spent a lot of our time doing holiday activities.  We combined our shared language activities with Christmas carols and poems, our writing with card making, our math was Christmas themed and in SS we learned about Wants and Needs.

The children have made some gifts for you.  They are in the bags that came home today. Please be careful with them.  Some are fragile.  The children worked hard on their gifts and cards for you.  I hope you like them.

I am sending home all winter clothing.  Please clean out backpacks and make sure all things are taken care of before they sit for nearly two weeks…there might be old snacks and such in there! Please remember to send in outside “gear” when we return in January!

I hope you all enjoy your holidays.  Take some time to read with your child this vacation.  Eleven days is a long time to be out of school for most children.  Reading will keep them up to speed for the return in 2018!

Have a safe and pleasant holiday and a Happy New Year!  I’m looking forward to spending time with my family and rejuvenating before we return on TUESDAY, January 2nd.

Best for a healthy start to a new year,

Andi Cammer
