Chatham University Rachel Healthy Planet Award

Award amount: $5,000/year upon enrollment and Book

  • Show a passion for the environment and interest in writing or sciences


Clarkson Leadership Award

Award amount: $60,000/total or $15,000/year upon enrollment

  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities

  • Have an academic interest in Engineering, Business, Science or Liberal Arts

  • Be recognized by students and faculty as having been a positive contributor to your school and community

  • Achieve an academic class rank in the top 15%

Award amount: $48,000/total or $12,000/year upon enrollment

  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities

  • Have an academic interest in Engineering, Business, Science or Liberal Arts

  • Be recognized by students and faculty as having been a positive contributor to your school and community

  • Achieve an academic class rank in the top 15%


Elmira College Key Award

Award amount: $80,000/total or $20,000/year upon enrollment

  • Minimum academic average of 80 (3.0 on 4.0 scale), grades in academic courses and Regents examinations are considered

  • Must have demonstrated outstanding school and community leadership


LeMoyne College Heights Award

Award amount: $12,500/year upon enrollment

  • Ranked in the top 10% with at least a 90 average in a regents, college prep or honors curriculum, and scores a 500 on each subsection of PSAT

  • Must have made significant contributions in leadership and service to school community or the community at large


The Rensselaer Medal Award

Award amount: $100,000/total or $25,000/year (5 years for B.Arch or Co-Terminal Program) upon enrollment

  • Rank in the top 10% of their class

  • Demonstrate potential for success in a challenging academic setting

  • Excel in advanced math and science courses (accepted students have completed chemistry, physics and a minimum of four years of math through pre-calc)

  • Exhibit significant involvement in extracurricular activities


Rochester Institute of Technology Computing Medal

Award amount: $28,000/total or $7,000/year upon enrollment, Application fee waived

  • Taking a rigorous college prep program

  • Rank in the top 10% of their class

  • Involved as leaders in their school and/or community

  • Demonstrate an interest and ability in computing


Rochester Institute of Technology Creativity and Innovation Award

Award amount: $28,000/total or $7,000/year upon enrollment, Application fee waived

  • Taking a rigorous college prep program

  • Rank in the top 10% of their class

  • Involved as leaders in their school and/or community

  • Demonstrate outstanding achievement in innovation, creativity or entrepreneurship


St. Michael’s College Book Award for Academic Achievement & Social Conscience

Award: personalized college book, potential for $12,000 to full tuition upon enrollment

  • The St. Michael’s College Book Award for academic achievement and social conscience recognizes outstanding students who demonstrate a commitment to volunteerism and leadership in their community service endeavors

  • Earn A’s/B’s in honors classes and be NHS inductees


Student Sage Award

Award amount: minimum $10,000/year upon enrollment

  • Embody the Sage motto: “To Be. To Know. To Do.”

  • Academic and social leaders who make the classroom exciting, lead debates on critical issues and possess powerful communication skills

  • Have maintained a B+ average or better in core academic coursework and are ranked in the top 25% of their class

  • Involved in community activities, lead the school in ways to improve the community

Award amount: minimum $10,000/year upon enrollment and Application fee waived

  • High achievement and rigor in science classes

  • High PSAT Math and/or SAT Math scores

  • Positive contributions to their school and within the larger community


University of Rochester Fredrick Douglas & Susan B. Anthony Award & Scholarship in the Humanities & Sciences

Award amount: minimum $10,000/year upon enrollment and Application fee waived

  • A demonstrated commitment to understanding and addressing difficult social issues

  • Leadership and dedication to community action

  • Strong grades and rigorous courses taken in the humanities and social sciences


University of Rochester The George Eastman Young Leaders Award

Award amount: minimum $10,000/year upon enrollment and Application fee waived

  • Strong leadership experience at school and in the community

  • High grades and challenging courses

  • Extensive involvement in extracurricular activities


University of Rochester Xerox Innovation and Information Technology Award

Award amount: minimum $10,000/year upon enrollment and Application fee waived

  • Strong interest in innovation and/or information technology and a high level of achievement in this area

  • Exposure to new technologies outside of school, such as pursuing serious work opportunities in local laboratories or industry

  • Leading other students to new approaches to old problems, e.g. business plans for fundraising; innovative community service; after-school activities; and best uses of internal communications tools such as chat and blogs

Wells College 21st Century Leadership Award

Award amount: $40,000/total or $10,000/year upon enrollment

  • 85% average or higher

  • Demonstrate leadership qualities and be involved in extracurricular activities (not including sports)
