Mrs. Jessica Hendrickson, President

Jessica is a lifelong resident of Jefferson as well as a JCS Class of 2000 graduate. She lives with her husband Ray, who owns Timber Tree Service, daughter Emma, 10th grade, and son Levi, 9th grade. She is the treasurer of the Jefferson Parent Group. Jessica has been a member of the school board since November 2017 and is currently serving as president.

Mrs. Jessica Terk, Vice President

Jessica is a JCS graduate and the parent of two JCS students.  She currently serves as President of the JCS Parent Group and has served on the school board for four years.

Mr. Frederick Blumberg

Fred is a JCS graduate of the class of 2000 and the father of two JCS students.  He served on active duty for 20 years in the U.S. Coast Guard and moved back to Jefferson upon his military retirement.  Fred currently works at a commercial solar operations and maintenance company as a director of field operations. He has been a member of the board since July of 2024.

Mr. Marc Lawrence

Marc Lawrence is a JCS graduate and lifelong resident of Jefferson. He has been a member of the Jefferson Fire Department for 29 years which includes serving as the department’s chief for 12 of them. For the past 25 years, Marc has worked for the Town of Jefferson Highway Department. Mr. Lawrence’s daughter attends fifth grade at JCS.

Mr. Andy Van Glad

Andy (’79) was elected to the school board in 1996 and served until 2011.  He was elected again in 2022.  He owns and operates a family business, Wood Homestead Maple Products.  He and his wife Laura have four children: Timothy (’08), Nicole (’11), Alison (’14), and Jessica (’17), all of whom attended JCS.  He and his wife  reside in Gilboa.
